Chaleun Sekong Energy Co., Ltd., founded in 2009, operates in clean energy business, encompassing a total of 11 projects with installed capacity of 1,400 MW, and a company dedicated to environmental protection and economic growth in Laos. We work to benefit local communities, people, and stakeholders involved in our projects by promoting sustainable development and protecting the environment. We studied the concept of Carbon Credit Since March 2016, and were able to materialized the concept in to real actions in 2023 when we founded Chaleun Sekong Carbon Company limited and signed a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Forestry for a 30 years concession to conduct Carbon Credit projects with total land size over 3.5 million hectares at the moment. In line with Laos PDR commitments to the UN and the World to achieve Net-zero emissions- mainly through reforestation projects which covers 70% of the country.
